In May of 1965, the Green Bay Packers acquired Lee Roy Caffey from the Philadelphia Eagles through a trade. During his time with the Packers, he played a crucial role in the team's outstanding achievements, notably contributing to three consecutive championship triumphs in Green Bay under the guidance of Coach Vince Lombardi. This remarkable run included clinching the 1965 NFL Championship, leading the team with 7 tackles in Super Bowl I, and securing victory in Super Bowl II.
